Humble yourselves under the hand of God by casting your anxiety on him.

1 Peter 5:7 ... This is one of the most popular verses in the Bible, yet we often take this verse out ... God is willing and able to carry the heaviest burden for us. ... That is, we are to cast our anxiety upon God because He sovereignly cares for us.

Anxieties attack our faith and torment our peace. The question with anxiety is not whether it will come, but rather, how can I fight it when it does?

What does it mean to cast all your care upon God? When you are anxious, you belittle God and exalt yourself. In reality, you are calling God a liar.
