How did Jesus comfort and stabilize his disciples when he went to die? He told them their sorrow would be short, and nothing compared with their future joy in him.
Jesus offers joy that no one can ever snatch and nothing can ever steal. It cannot be destroyed. It cannot be lost. It is forever.
