Job 1:1 ESV

There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job, and that man was blameless and upright, one who feared God and turned away from evil.

What does it mean that Job was blameless and upright?
What does it mean that Job was blameless and upright? Was Job perfect / sinless? Was Job a man of integrity?
If Job was blameless, why did God allow Satan to afflict him? |
When the Bible says that Job was blameless, it does not mean that he was absolutely sinless. It means that he was a God-fearing man who sought to do what was right before the Lord.
